The process of designing a residence is one of the more intimate jobs we hold. When building custom, we design every space for how your family lives by immersing ourselves in your world. We believe the design of a home should be holistic from the landscape, to the exterior architecture, to interior finishes and furnishings— all of which are provided in house.
renovations + upfits
There is so much to love about existing buildings. Mature landscaping, prime locations, solid construction, historic details— the list goes on, but that doesn’t mean the building functions well for it’s new residents or tenant. We would be love to help you make your existing building or residence feel like custom new constrution, adding more character and timeless features as we do.

renderings + 3D Visualization
Whether it’s for a potential built project or a product, we have the capability to provide 3D visuals for your work. We have worked with home builders, medical product manufacturers, and non-profits for 3D visualization. We offer still images as well as VR experience for projects within a full design contract.
construction oversight
We offer construction oversight as an additional service on projects we provide design services for. This service places us as an advocate for the client, working to ensure the end result is what is detailed in the drawings.
permit drawings
Need a simple set of permit drawings without the full design process? We can help with that! This service might be right for you if you have a simple floor plan in an existing building with minimal changes needed, but are required to submit for a permit.
community consulting
At the heart of Shae Studio is the idea that GOOD DESIGN CHANGES LIVES. We believe design thinking is the solution to many of the problems that exist in our communities. We would love to work with you to find a solution and space for organic community to take shape!
capital campaign visuals
We love to work with non-profits and organizations who are going after grants or private equity funding and need images to sell their vision. While these don’t always translate to exactly what would be built with the funding, the intent is to cast a vision and sell the central idea and mission.
programming
This service would typically happen prior to signing an agreement for full design services. We work with you and your team or family to discover what you actually want, need, and how those spaces should relate to each other.
